Man fatally shot during West Side car-jacking

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A man was killed during a carjacking on the West Side Sunday night, and the 1100 block of South Austin.

Police said a man walked up to the victim, shot him several times and stole his car around 9:30 p.m.

The man was taken to Loyola University Medical Center where he died from his wounds, according to police.

No one is in custody, but Area Central officers are investigating the fatal shooting.

The car has yet to be found.
