North Forsyth High student killed, several injured in accident

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga -
A student at North Forsyth High School was killed and several other people were injured when a car collided with a pickup truck.
The accident occurred on Hendrix Road in Cumming around 4 p.m. According to Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers, Kyle Robins, a 17-year-old junior at North Forsyth High School, was killed. A passenger in the vehicle, another junior at the school, was transported to North Fulton Medical Center in critical condition.
Four people from the pickup truck were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Shivers.
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
Students plan to gather at the flagpole of the school at 8 a.m. on Tuesday to remember Robins. Grief counselors will be on hand.
