Westlake Village Musicians Rock the Letterman Stage

Posted: Updated:

Together since they were kids,  AWOLNATION Band Members Aaron Bruno, Drew Steward and Dave Amezcua performed on the Late Show with David Letterman.  The event made one certain FOX 11 Anchorman a very proud papa.

"I can't believe we just played on the same stage as The Beatles in the old Ed Sullivan Theater! so declared David Amezcua after performing "Kill Your Heroes" on Late Night with David Letterman on Tuesday night.

AWOLNATION is in the throes of a world tour promoting their quadruple platinum selling album Megalithic Symphony.  Having just returned from playing to sold out venues from London and Cape Town to Mexico City and Boston.  The tour continues after the holidays and will stretch all the way to the Far East.

Together since they were kids, singer Aaron Bruno, guitarist Drew Stewart and Dave Amezcua are now celebrating the success they always dreamed about.  Playing music in Dave's parents Westlake Village garage to the largest stages in the world is a testament they say to hard work and believing in your music.

The three long time pals are joined by drummer Hayden Scott and keyboardist Kenny Carkeet.  AWOLNATION has now played on all major late night television shows and is poised to break out into a very successful 2013.

OK if you haven't guessed by now, Dave's Pop, FOX11 Anchorman Carlos Amezcua is a very proud father and can't wait to see the band perform again in front of their growing legions of hometown fans.
