PHOENIX -
ADOT traffic cameras are just one tool we use to help track storms as they come into town. But here's an inside look at the place that holds all the ADOT cameras in the valley -- and it just received a major makeover.
The ADOT traffic operations center is a state-of-the-art facility. It underwent $2 million makeover.
There is an entire wall of 55-inch monitors, so employees can keep a close eye on all the major roadways in the valley.
Employees watch the screens 24/7, tracking driving and weather conditions and law enforcement calls.
Snowplows in the Kingman and Winslow area are on standby, ready for the snowfall.
FOX 10's Kelly Hessedal reports from inside.
