ROSWELL, Ga. -

Authorities have issued a Levi's Call for two missing Roswell brothers who are believed to have been abducted by their father.  Ben Cleary, 9, and Henry Cleary, 7, were reported missing by their mother when their father did not return them to her custody.

Police say the boys are likely traveling with their father, 46-year-old Daniel Cleary, who is believed to be armed.  Police say they are possibly traveling in a silver 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Georgia temporary tag #10742627.  According to the Levi's Call, they are believed to be traveling on the west side of Nashville, Tennessee on Interstate 40.

A Roswell Police Department spokesman told FOX 5 that the boys' parents are divorced, and their father picked them up on December 19.  When he did not return them to their mother's custody on Wednesday, she went to their father's home at 285 Crab Orchard Way in Roswell to find them missing.  Police say their father is supposed to have daily contact with their mother, Theresa Nash, but he has not been doing so.

"Nobody has made contact with them and…we have been unable to make contact since the 22nd. He's abandoned his car. He's driving a car that nobody knew about. His house is cleared out. He's only using cash," said Nash.

Nash said that Cleary's friend confirmed that the father had purchased a Glock handgun last month, and she said that police have confirmed that he has it with him.

The boys' mother hopes that Cleary will listen to her plea.

"We will work with you, but do the right thing and bring them home. We love them very much. You need take care of them and do the right thing now," said Nash.

Police believe Daniel Cleary may have switched cars to travel in the Jeep Cherokee they describe, but they say he does not have family in Tennessee. Cleary does have family in California and Florida, Nash said.

Police say they are concerned for the safety of the children based on their father's activity and the fact that he is believed to be armed, but they did not give further details.

Ben Cleary, 9, is a described as a white male with brown, medium-length hair and brown eyes who is about 4'6" tall and weighs approximately 66 pounds.  Henry Cleary, 7, is described as a white male with brown hair and green eyes who is about 4'3" tall and weighs approximately 60 pounds.  Both boys were last seen wearing light blue winter vests.

Daniel Cleary, 46, is described as a white male with medium-length gray hair and brown eyes who is approximately 6' tall and weighs about 220 pounds.

Anyone with information about the location of the missing children and the suspect should call the Roswell Police Department at (770) 640-4160.
