DeKalb County authorities are investigating an early-morning armed robbery attempt at a McDonalds restaurant. They say it happened at a location in the 5400 block of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard early Thursday.
Officers say they found spotted a vehicle matching the description of the suspects' getaway car nearby, and they were about to pull it over when the vehicle turned into the Marquise at Lennox apartment complex on Briarwood Road. They say two men fled the vehicle, leaving a third man inside. Police are questioning him.
Police say they found ski masks and a pistol inside the suspects' vehicle.
