
Mesa police are asking for the public's help to find two suspects accused of stealing groceries from a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market.
Authorities say on August 26, the two men entered the store near Baseline and Lindsay Roads just before 7 p.m. They selected a shopping cart full of groceries, took them to the self-checkout and left the store after scanning only a few items.
Suspect #1 is described as a white male, 50 to 60 years old, 6' to 6' 2" tall, 230 to 250 pounds with short white hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black t-shirt with "Airborne" in yellow writing and black sweat pants.
Suspect #2 is also described as a white male, 60 years of age or older, 5' 7" to 5' 10" tall, 160 to 170 pounds with short gray hair. He was wearing a green and white striped polo shirt and jean shorts.
Police say the suspects may be driving a mid to late 1980s model GMC Jimmy or Chevrolet Blazer sport utility vehicle.
