The LA County Department of Public Health is urging residents to get vaccinated against the flu following an increase in emergency room visits.

It's recommended that everyone over six months old be vaccinated, particularly those at risk. That includes pregnant women, children under five, adults 65 and older, people with chronic medical conditions, people living in nursing homes or long-term care facilities, and caregivers.
