Jenni Rivera Crash: Victims' Families Sue Plane Owner
Relatives of four people who died along with Jenni Rivera in a plane crash last month are filing a lawsuit against the singer's company and the owners of the plane.
The famed banda singer, her entourage and two pilots were killed on December 9th. The Lear jet they were traveling in crashed in the mountains of northern Mexico.
Lawyers filing the negligence suit in Los Angeles County claim the plane was poorly maintained and that the pilots were not properly licensed. They were especially critical of the main pilot who was 78-years-old.
