A semi-trailer truck caught fire on Tuesday night, snarling traffic on Interstate 85 northbound at Interstate 285. Officials said that it was not a hazmat situation as the truck was carrying a food product.
The truck's sole occupant was not injured, according to officials.
Georgia State Patrol, HERO and DeKalb County police and fire crews were at the scene.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Officials closed down several lanes and diverted traffic to Interstate 285 as they worked to clean up the accident.
