How's this for great casting!? Al Pacino is going to play Joe Paterno in an upcoming movie. The film's working title is "Happy Valley," but the plot remains under wraps. Producers say it will be based on the book "Paterno" by author Joe Posnanski- who followed the Penn State football coach in his final years-- which of course included the sex abuse scandal involving assistant Jerry Sandusky. Pacino will team up with his former "Scarface" director "Brian de Palma" on the project. As of now, no filming or release date has been set.
Actor Samuel L. Jackson had some fun when he stopped by a UK radio station. When a listener called in to request Taylor Swift's latest pop song "We are never ever ever getting back together", Jackson did his own poetic version. The video is getting tons of hits today. You can check it out here
Bravo Media has greenlit a new reality series called "Extreme Guide to Parenting"...about the unique ways parents raise their kids. The episodes will feature attachment parents...moms who breastfeed their kids until age four...fiercely competitive "tiger-mothers"..."free-range" parents who never say "no" to their children...and "helicopter" moms and dads who are so protective they use disguises to monitor their offspring's every move!
