Erica Courtney: The System Sure Wasn't Protecting Me

You may have heard of jewelry designer Erica Courtney…her jewels are worn by many Hollywood celebrities.

But 30 years ago, Erica Courtney went by a different name…and she was a fugitive.

She was involved in a bitter custody fight over her 5-year-old son. Courtney feared she wasn't safe from her ex-husband…so she took her son, left Louisiana and eventually ended up here in LA, where she started a business that became more successful than she ever imagined.
