For years most of the immigrants who came to California came from Latin America. But there's been a major change -- one that will likely have a huge impact on California politics.
Fox 11 investigative producer Heidi Cuda reports that more people are now coming here from Asia than from Latin America.
The Census numbers show this enormous shift:
-- In 2001, 42% of immigrants coming to California came from Latin America; 37% came from asia. -- A decade later 57% of new immigrants came from Asia, while only 22% were from Latin America
