Port Authority officials say United Express Flight 4480 out of Rochester landed at Newark Liberty International Airport and blew some tires in the rear and veered off the runway onto a taxiway Sunday night.

The Express Jet plane operating as United Express veered off the runway around 8:25 p.m. and there are no injuries reported. The flight had eight passengers and five crew members on board.

The incident will have no impact on airport service.

An Express Jet Airlines spokeswoman issued a statement:

"Express Jet Flight 4480, operating as United Express from Rochester, NY to Newark, experienced four blown tires shortly after landing. The crew safely brought the aircraft to a stop, and all eight passengers safely deplaned and were bused to the terminal. "
