Got a nonoperational gun? You can get a $50 gift card.
An operational firearm a hundred dollar gift card? If it's an assault rifle, $200.
So far over 173 guns and rifles, including some assault weapons, have been turned in since the program started just before 10 o'clock this morning.
The "Gift for Guns" program goes until 5 pm or whenever they run out of gift cards. The sheriff's department tells me they have $75,000 worth to give out!
