NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A dentist in practice on Long Island is accused of performing a dental procedure on a patient while intoxicated.

Suffolk County Police arrested Robert Garelick, 57, at his dental office on Wellwood Ave. in Lindenhurst.

Cops say they responded to the office on Monday afternoon after receiving a complaint that Garelick was drunk.

The Melville resident is charged with one count of reckless endangerment.

He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
