Alana Stewart: People Think Boy, She Led A Fairytale Life

Alana Stewart is an accomplished, model, actrress, and mother. She's written her second book called "Rear View Mirror" looking back at how she overcame the struggles of her childhood, a trraumatic rape, and her marriages and divorces to Rod Stewart and George Hamilton. She also discusses her experiences with drug addiction in her family, and the loss of her best friend Farrah Faucett.

Since 1981, the John Wayne name has been committed by the Wayne family to groundbreaking cancer research and education in memory of their father, who died of cancer.

The John Wayne Cancer Institute began a successful affiliation with Saint John's Health Center in 1991, operating as a nonprofit cancer research institute dedicated to the understanding and curing of cancer in order to eliminate patient suffering worldwide.

In 2011, Stewart was honored with the prestigious True Grit Award at the Auxiliary's 26th Annual Odyssey Ball. This year's Odyssey Ball will take place on April 13, 2013 at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
