Mallory Hagan appeared at the IHOP on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. to promote the upcoming "National Pancake Day."
The purpose is to raise $3 million on Feb. 5, with all proceeds going to the Children's Miracle Network. Hagan says she learned a lot in her brief career as an IHOP chef.
IHOP will offer customers free short stacks on Feb. 5; however, donations will be requested as well.
Hagan will appear on FOX 5's Good Day Atlanta on Wednesday morning. She'll also take her first official photos as Miss America in Atlanta before heading back to New York.
