CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Chicago Public Schools has approved a new, single-track calendar for the next school year. The new calendar gives all students the same start and end dates - and the same days off.
In the fall, all CPS students will begin school before Labor Day, on Aug. 26. The school year will end on June 10.
The Thanksgiving holiday will now be three days long and there will be no more half-days.
To see all the new changes, head to the district's website at www.CPS.edu.
