Olga Ospina is the weekend weathercaster for FOX 11 News.

Prior to joining the FOX team in December 2012, Olga worked at KTLA in Los Angeles as a reporter and spent 6 years on the Central Coast, serving as the weekday evening news anchor for the CBS and FOX affiliates in Monterey.

Olga has covered everything from breaking news stories and natural disasters to star-studded red carpet events and flying with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.

Her broadcasting career began as a reporter for a local cable station in the Inland Empire, followed quickly by a move to Spanish language television hosting a news magazine show in Los Angeles. Olga also worked as a financial news anchor for Biz News One before leaving Southern California for the Midwest, where she anchored the news for the FOX affiliate in the Quad Cities. She was also the news anchor for Univision in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Olga is a graduate of UCLA. You may have seen her in movies and television shows over the years. She has made a number of appearances playing the role of a journalist.

Often asked about her nationality, she was born in Los Angeles and was raised here most of her life, but her parents are from Colombia. She lived in Colombia from the ages of 8 to 13 and is fluent in Spanish.

In her free time she loves traveling, exploring new destinations, restaurants and foods, and spending time with her family.

Olga is a beach girl at heart and can often be found enjoying a beautiful Southern Calfornia day, going for a bike ride, rollerblading or out for a walk with her two adorable dogs.
