The nerds have returned! Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong played Booger and Lewis in "Revenge of the Nerds" and they hung out with the cool kids Thursday morning on Good Day LA. The two are hosting a new reality show on TBS called "King of the Nerds".
The unscripted show follows contestants competing to not only take home a hundred grand but to also be crowned the greatest nerd of all time. The two talked to Maria and Steve about how the movie still has a huge following almost 30 years after it was released..and how that fanbase helped lead to the development of the series.
They also discuss how the film struck the right chord with that generation and how that generation kept the movie alive long after it came and went in theaters. Carradine also told Steve how he knew the movie would be a hit before the studio did.
