Authorities: Body found after fire on Detroit's west side

DETROIT (WJBK) -- Authorities say a body has been found following a fire at a boarded-up home in Detroit.
WWJ-AM radio reports the body was found by fire crews Tuesday morning inside a home in the 5000 block of Ivanhoe, just south of I-96 between Livernois and Tireman.
Newspaper reports say investigators suspect the person was assaulted at another location and then burned.
Homicide detectives are handling the case. The identity of the person who died wasn't immediately known.
