The Georgia Bureau of Investigation believes a missing Franklin County mother is the victim of foul play. Bonny Anne Cooner, 33, was last seen on Jan. 28.
GBI investigators said they believe that Cooner has likely not vanished by her own free will. They say that Cooner's fiancé and her son were the last people to see her.
The GBI said on Friday that they've done interviews with the people closest to Cooner and they've examined her computer and cell phone as well as her financial records. They hope that evidence will lead to Cooner and the people responsible for her disappearance.
Missing posters are plastered all over town as concern grows for the missing mother.
"No matter where you go, people are talking about it. This is a fairly tight knit community and things like this just don't happen around here," said Freddy Akins, a resident.
Cooner's fiancée told FOX 5's Chris Shaw on Friday that he is very concerned about where she could be right now. He is concerned about these developments that the GBI have announced. He said in the last couple of days before she disappeared, she wasn't acting herself.
Detectives said they believe they are close to finding out what happened to Cooner.
