Elderly man found dead under Brooklyn dock

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Police say a 74-year-old man who lived on a houseboat in Brooklyn is dead after his body was found floating under a dock Sunday.

The victims' boat was docked in the Plumb Beach Channel off of Ebony Court in Gerritsen Beach when found in the water around 12:35 p.m.

Authorities said the man was pronounced dead at the scene and do not suspect any criminality at this time.

The city's medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
