Triplets bring gifts to PCH every Valentine's Day

PHOENIX -

A lot of people probably got roses or chocolates on Valentine's Day, but the kids at Phoenix Children's Hospital got their own gift from a special group of triplets.

Just like Santa Clause, Clifford, a big dog in a furry red suit, is a celeb with the under five set.

But he wasn't there for photo opps; he was there to deliver precious teddy bears to patients.

The kids think the plush bears are from Clifford, but they're really a gift from Sela, Ari and Alex Poulos, 13-year-old triplets who were born at PCH.

"We were preemies so they basically saved our lives and kept us healthy," said Sela Poulos.

The Poulos triplets have been surprising patients with a plush gift every Valentine's Day since they were just 3-years-old.

Each year, they introduce a new and different stuffed animal.

"We give it to them just to make them happy and put smiles on their faces so when they leave they'll always have their bears," said Ari Poulos.

we thought this would be a good way of giving back to PCH for saving our lives," said Alex Poulos.

With Clifford playing Cupid, the Poulos family spreads a little cheer to all 350 kids staying in the hospital.

It's a tradition that makes their parents proud and that they're eager to carry on.

When they're not busy spreading Valentine's cheer at the hospital, the triplets are busy playing in their band called "Triple Firrre."

They've performed at Cardinals Stadium, at Oakland A's Spring training Games and even Comerica Theater.

So not only do they have big hearts, but these kids also have a lot of talent.
