"General Hospital" is celebrating its 50th anniversary on the air by bringing back some of the fans' all-time favorite actors and actresses who've appeared on the show over the past decades.

Among others, Jack Wagner, Finola Hughes, Kin Shriner and Robin Mattson have all returned .. some for a few days, others for a longer stint.

But no returning actress has generated more excitement than Genie Francis, who, along with Anthony Geary, played daytime TV's most iconic supercouple, Luke and Laura, whose TV wedding in 1981 drew more than 30-million viewers.

Genie Francis stopped by Good Day L.A. this morning.
