Rental Prices Spike In Los Angeles County

Posted: Updated:

Driven by foreclosures, a lack of new construction and an influx of tech jobs, Los Angeles County's rental market is spiking.

Westside Rentals President Kevin Miller tells Fox 11 investigative producer Heidi Cuda he's seeing up to a 15% increase in rents in coastal communities from just two years ago.

By the end of this year, USC's Lusk Center for Real Estate reports Los Angeles County multi-family rents are expected to jump 9.6% from 2011.
