Have A Pint and Dance The Jig! LA County Irish Fair Is Here

Los Angeles, CA -

St. Patrick's Day is more than a week away, but the party starts early at the 11th Annual LA County Irish Fair and Celtic Music Festival at the Pomona Fairgrounds this Friday, March 8 through Sunday, March 10. The event will have more than 100 performers on nine musical stages with 60 shows daily (what?!) including Clearly Irish dancers, an Irish village with shops, Irish tavern and marketplace, Shamrock children's amusement rides, sheep herding demos, dog shows, Irish fountains, face painting, Irish microbrew tasting and, of course, plenty of Irish food.

Mar Yvette is at Cleary Irish Dance School in Burbank to get jiggy with the dancers and preview some of the entertainment including Grammy-nominated Lisa Haley & The Zydecats, McCloud the World's Tallest Leprechaun, Sadie the Balloon Lady, Brewcakes "adult cupcakes" and goodies from the Irish Import Shop. Rain or shine, the fair will go on!

For more info call the Irish hotlines (yes, they have Irish hotlines!) at 562-618-5558 or 213-305-9653. You can also check out the full fair lineup and buy tickets online at www.la-irishfair.com.

Sutter Zachman had his first record deal when he was barely out of his teens. You may have seen the Orange County native was on stage at the Largo and other hot clubs around LA. He then left town...after what he called a few "bouts" with the music business, but now he is back with a new EP called ‘Repeat Offender.'
