Los Angeles, CA -

FOX 11's food and fun expert Mar Yvette searches the Los Angeles area for some of the best places to eat, drink, shop and have a great time. Featured guests then swarm our FOX Television Center parking lot every Thursday morning between 9am and 10am on Good Day LA, creating a big party as one jam-packed segment known as the Weekend Roundup!

Here's more information about the guests we featured:

Currywurst Food Truck

Hot diggity dog! Currywurst Truck is bringing Germany's most famous street food to LA. So what exactly is currywurst? It's lightly grilled or fried pork sausage slathered in curry-seasoned ketchup. It was originally created in Berlin in 1949 and now you can try this fast-food favorite from Currywurst Truck along with at least a dozen other German-inspired eats like weiner sausage with roll, curry cheese fries, sauerkraut, German burgers, bread rolls (brötchen) and even a tofu kilbasa sausage. (Hey, this is LA, after all). You can catch the truck this weekend at The Concept LA Fashion Event at Siren Studios and find out why this wurst is the best!

Joe Fresh Pop-Up At JC Penney

If you want to freshen up your wardrobe without spending a lot of money, stop by the new Joe Fresh Pop-Up shop in West Hollywood this weekend. The popular Canadian line has partnered with JC Penney and is taking over the old Miss Sixty space on Melrose for a fun, three-day shopping experience (March 8-10) that is offering FREE manicures, FREE juice bar, FREE refreshments, FREE live music and items priced no more than $50! Joe Fresh has a few stores in NYC, but this weekend is your first chance to shop the new line before it hits JC Penney stores nationwide.

They've only been together a few years, but Blush has already played with some of the biggest names in music. The five-piece female pop group opened for Justin Bieber on their first major performance, made their stateside TV debut on FOX's hit show "So You Think You Can Dance" and walked the red carpet at this year's Grammy Awards with their biggest fan (and executive producer) Quincy Jones. Touted as the "Asian Spice Girls," each member is from a different Asian country -- China, India, Japan, Korea and the Philippines. You can check out their new "Warrior" music video HERE and see them live in concert on Saturday, March 16 for the Spring Beat 2013 Young Hollywood Club launch at Avalon in Hollywood.
