MORROW, Ga. -
For the second year, the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health hosted a women's HIV/AIDS awareness campaign.
The community event in Morrow for women and young girls discussed risk factors, prevention education and also offered free testing.
Organizers say HIV/AIDS is here to stay, but there are preventative measures and treatments available for those who suffer from it.
Cassandra Price says the yearly event also encourages women to take advantage of all free health services available to prevent other common ailments such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
