Probably the most memorable part of any wedding is the venue. It sets the tone for the day and determines just how much fun your guests will have.
Imagine getting married in a private forest, and your guests are greeted by fresh flowers, and feast under crystal chandeliers. Sounds like a dream, right? Well, for Christopher and Russell, it's a reality.
Ann Williams of Ashton Gardens in Sugar Hill recently gave the happy couple a guided tour of the gorgeous facility. Ashton Gardens will be hosting their dream wedding, and their first stop was the grand ballroom.
"Oh my god, this is gorgeous! And all you see is windows, windows, windows," exclaimed Russell.
Ashton Gardens sits on nine acres of lush greenery, so the view is incredible. The couple's 100 guests will celebrate in 5-star style with luxurious linens and flatware.
Their next stop was the kitchen where they met the chef. After that brief stop, they were taken to the chapel, where the two will exchange their vows.
The glass-enclosed chapel is large enough to fit hundreds of guests, yet intimate enough to capture the magical moment. It's a moment they say they still can't believe is happening.
"I feel like I'm in a dream and I'm waiting to wake up. It's amazing," said Russell.
