GLENDALE, Ariz. -

It's been 10 years since 17-year-old Stephon Wickware was gunned down in the area of 58th Ave and Glendale, and police are no closer to finding his killer.

On March 27, 2003, Glendale Police responded to a call of shots fired just after 10 p.m. Wickware had been shot multiple times, and died at a hospital.

Witnesses said they saw a young Hispanic male riding away from the scene on a bicycle. The suspect is believed to have been 18 to 20 years old, with a small build.

Wickware had gone to visit his girlfriend earlier in the night. He took a bus home from his girlfriend's house, and that's when he was shot.

No motive is known for the crime.

On March 27, 2013, family and friends of Wickware will hold a vigil at 58th Ave and Glendale, about 4 p.m. Anyone with information about this cold case is asked to call 480-WITNESS or the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000.
