The Wildlife Learning
Center is a non-profit animal sanctuary in Sylmar, located just 30 minutes from
LA. Nestled in an old olive grove, the haven is where you can see more than 50
different species of rescued and zoo-born wild animals including foxes, a
two-toed sloth, porcupines, lynxes, servals, a bobcat, monkeys and so many more
beautiful animals.
The center is open seven days a week and offers the largest
outreach program of its kind in LA with activities and classes taught by
biologists. You can even have a birthday party here. Sort of gives new meaning
to the phrase 'party animal'!
