Michelle Williams: From 'Destiny's Child' To 'Fela'

(FOX 11) "Destiny's Child" is arguably one of the greatest girl groups ever. This powerhouse group -- who sold more than 50 million albums and was ranked by Billboard as one of the top musical trios of all time.

While the group is no more, one of the stars -- Michelle Williams -- is finding success in the theater. She now appears in the musical "Fela."

"I just loved the music and I just loved what I felt after I saw it. It made me feel strong and made me just want to continue to stand in what you believe in," she told Studio 11 LA's Laura Diaz.

As for her surprise Superbowl performance with former band mate Beyonce? "That was a good time. It was celebrating a good show," she said. "[We thought] it would be a good surprise and people kept asking and I said no."
