Debris thrown onto cars from I-285 overpass

ATLANTA -

Someone is throwing objects off highway overpasses hitting cars below, and police are looking for the suspects before any motorists get hurt.

Marilyn King was on her way home on Tuesday night when her brand new car was hit by something thrown from a highway overpass. She was getting off Interstate 285 at the Martin Luther King Jr. exit when the object broke her windshield.

"Just shattered the windshield, Glass all in the car," said King.

King pulled over. Her daughter got of the car and saw what looked like kids on the overpass.

"Running and laughing and jumping up and down, and talking about it up on the bridge," King said.

Apparently, King wasn't the only victim.

"Another guy comes up and something hit his car the same way, and then another car came and it had hit his car," said King.

King says she is not happy about the incident.

"To pay a car note like this, and that insurance...it's pissing me off," King said.

Several drivers expressed concern about the incident to FOX 5.

No one was hurt, and police have not made any arrests.
