Los Angeles, CA -

(FOX 11) Police have arrested one of the suspects in the kidnapping of a 10-year-old Northridge girl, but the manhunt continues for Tobias Summers, the primary suspect.

Lt. Kevin Mayer from the San Diego Police Department tells FOX 11 they received a sighting report Monday night at 9:42 pm of the suspected kidnapper.

"9900 block of Hotel Circle" is what spent over the scanner. Plain clothes officers spent some time at the Handlery Hotel, but found no sign of Summers.

Mayer confirms they are working with LAPD on the manhunt and are in contact with agencies across the border. He won't specify why they are concentrating on that, although they did focus their energies down south after the arrest of 29-year-old Daniel Martinez, who's being held on suspicion of the same kidnapping last week.

Keep in mind, "the Christopher Dorner manhunt went from San Diego to Big Bear" added Mayer, so the hope is that "everyone keeps their eyes open for this guy, no matter where they are."

I met the folks from Gunnar Optiks at CES this year and they had something new to show me. The Intercepts. I have a big head, these are big frames, it was kismet but do they work as good as they look? We'll see.
