'Architecture of Flight' Exhibit Lands At Museum Of Flying

Santa Monica, CA -

(FOX 11 / CNS) A 24-foot scale model of the $1.5 billion expansion of the Tom Bradley International Terminal designed by architect Curtis Fentress is the highlight at a event for "Now Boarding: Fentress Airports + the Architecture of Flight," an exhibition on the evolution of airport design and its effects on the air travel experience.

The event also includes renderings from the LAX "Airport of the Future" design competition, a full-size replica of the Wright brothers' biplane with operational propellers, Boeing 727 cockpit and fashion show showcasing vintage flight attendant uniforms.

The Museum of Flying is at Santa Monica Airport, 3100 Airport Avenue, Santa Monica.
