NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

TSA workers reportedly let a Kennedy International Airport worker board a flight to Florida without a boarding pass and without being screened.

Marcelino Aponte, 31, of the Bronx,  was arrested when his flight landed in Orlando.

He had a reservation on Delta Flight 2159 but was initially stopped from boarding because he didn't have a boarding pass.

He also never went through metal detectors and his Louis Vuitton duffel bag was not screened, according to The Post.  He apparently used his clearance pass to bypass security, a security code to go through a locked door, and make his way to the gate.

TSA workers allegedly watched as Aponte violated the rules and was able to make his way on to the flight, which was allowed to take off despite the breach.

The TSA is accused of waiting up to 45 minutes to contact Port Authority police but the TSA issued a statement saying the delay was only 9 minutes.

Aponte is expected to return to New York on Friday to face misdemeanor charges related to violating airport security rules, according to the Post.
