15th Annual Marwil Jewish Film Festival April 7-18

WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -

The 15th annual Marwil Jewish Film Festival is going on now through Thursday, April 18. The festival will present 30 award-winning films that tell heartwarming stories. Some stories include a talented songwriter, a famed Israeli war hero and those affected by the Holocaust. Films are expected to break barriers, conquer social divides and bring audiences into the story where they can learn, relax and be entertained.

The festival is at the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit, located at 6600 W. Maple Rd. in West Bloomfield.

Tickets are $11 to each film or participants can purchase a patron pass, which allows guests to see all films. A matinee pass (for matinees only) is available for $40 for JCC members and $45 for non-members.
