Atlanta police say they've made two arrests in the Buckhead robbery and kidnapping cases.
One victim told FOX 5 that he thought robbers were going to kill him after they held him up at gunpoint outside his Buckhead apartment.
"There was probably like five seconds where I just prepared myself, I closed my eyes, my whole life flashed before me," said the victim, who asked not to be identified. "What is my mom going to think? What is my dad going to think? What are my friends going to think? Where am I going?"
The Georgia State student says he still struggles with what happened last month. After he pulled in to his gated Buckhead community, he says two men attacked him and stole his backpack, cell phone and his car.
"He tried to tackle me and I throw my phone down on the ground and I started wrestling. I got him down to the ground and I got a pistol to my head, right between my eyes," the victim said. "His friend saw that he was kind of struggling so he jumped out of the bushes, and he hit me in the back of the head with his pistol, so I had two pistols to my head."
The case is just one of at least a handful of robberies and kidnappings in Buckhead. Police are not releasing the number of victims but say they have had some developments in their investigation.
"I really think this is good to show people that they need to be 100 percent aware when they're out and about, regardless of what time of day it is," the victim said. "I think the most important part is that I'm alive and that's what I hang on to every day."
Last week Atlanta police interviewed a man caught inside a robbery victim's car in South Carolina. They've now made two arrests.
The victim FOX 5 talked to wonders if the people caught could be the men who robbed him.
