FOX 11 Sponsors Canine Classic Dog Walk & Festival

The Canine Classic Dog Walk & Festival is almost here! It takes place on Sunday, April 27th in Calabasas and features Project Dogway, My Pet's Got Talent, and more!

The fun-filled family fundraiser benefits the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center, the Calabasas Rotary, L.I.F.E. Animal Rescue and Healthcare for Homeless Animals.  It'll feature a two-mile walk through the crystal clear rolling hills of Calabasas.  Route highlights will include rover rest stops with plenty of water, food and fun for pets of all kinds and their human companions.

Admission is free to the festival, featuring dog adoptions, guest judges, the area's top food trucks, the Anza Beer Garden Kid's Activity Zone, a silent auction, Camp Bow Bow Dogs & Kids Storytime, Behavior Buddies Training Demo, plus a vendor fair with over 30 pet industry companies offering samples and special event deals.

Dogs are welcome and they must be on a leash.

These Main Stage events will certainly make crowds sit, stay and beg for more!
PROJECT DOGWAY: Is your canine a fashionista? Strut your four-legged friend in their best outfit down the Project Dogway runway and compete to be the chic best.

MY PET'S GOT TALENT: Does your pet have what it takes to join the likes of Lassie? Sign up for My Pet's Got Talent, show off your canine's special talent and let our guest judges decide! No singing, please.

These competitions require advance registration online. A $10 donation is required per entry, and each category is limited to 25 entries. Prizes include a weekend stay for you and your pet at The Anza - A Calabasas Hotel.

Canine Classic Dog Walk & Festival 2014 sponsors include Media Sponsor Fox 11, Walk Sponsor Camp Bow Wow Agoura Hills plus Invisible Fence, Deats Design, The Anza Hotel and Wolf Creek Restaurant.

Check in for the Dog Walk begins at 9:00 a.m. and starts at 10:00 a.m. Festival hours are 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
