A restaurant manager from Massachusetts has been identified as one of the three people killed in the Boston Marathon bombings.
Krystle Campbell, 29, of Medford, was at the race with a friend to watch her friend's boyfriend cross the finish line, according to her father, William Campbell, the AP reported. She worked at a restaurant in nearby Arlington.
Campbell and his wife were originally told their daughter was wounded but survived, the Daily News reported. When they were brought into to see their daughter, they realized the wounded woman was not Krystle, but was rather her friend.
Within an hour, a Boston cop showed the Campbells a photo of one of the three fatalities, and they realized their daughter had died, the report said.
Campbell said Krystle was "very caring, very loving person, and was daddy's little girl."
