Operation Wedding couple ready to exchange vows

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

Operation Wedding is a week away, providing a free trip down the aisle for our deserving military couple. Staff Sergeant Ancil Christopher and his fiance Tamika Russell are finishing up the last minute details.

Tamika is a hairdresser, but for her wedding, she's leaving her gorgeous face and hair in the capable hands of the professionals at Bob Steele Salon. For her makeup, she wanted something soft. As for her hair, wanted her hair to shake when she moved it, and with plenty curls

They stylists at the salon rose to the occasion, and got the stamp of approval from Tamika.

Next, Ancil and Tamika met with the professional wedding photojournalists at Decisive Moment.

"On your wedding day, the sooner you forget about us the better. We don't want you to worry about us. We don't want you to think about what's going on. We are there to capture real moments, genuine emotion," said Jenn Linke of Decisive Moment.

Decisive Moment expertly captured the emotion of the couple. Tamika nearly cried while she viewed a slide show of their work.

With everything in place, Ancil and Tamika are destined to have a picture perfect wedding. The wedding takes place next Thursday.
