TEMPE, Ariz. -

It's becoming a growing problem for Tempe police -- fraternity and sorority parties ending in violence. This weekend, one of those parties nearly turned deadly.

Just one month ago two teens were severely burned at a fraternity party when an ASU student threw a bottle of alcohol in a bonfire. Before that, 19-year old Jack Culolias drowned in Tempe Town Lake following a sorority party at Cadillac Ranch. Late last year, an all-out brawl between rival fraternities at an apartment complex was captured on surveillance video.

The latest incident happened at the same complex, the Hayden Terrace Apartments. A group of men showed to a party armed with baseball bats and a gun. Police have made several arrests so far, and more could be on the way.

After looking at the surveillance video and listening to the 911 calls, police describe the scene out here early Sunday morning as total chaos.

911: "911 what's your emergency?"

Caller: "Hi please come to 1925 E. Hayden Road [sound of gunshots, screaming] oh my god oh my god oh god!"

In surveillance video, you can see ASU students running away while on the phone with 911 trying to get help.

911: "White male, black, Hispanic male?"

Caller: "White male [sound of gunshots] -- gunfire get down get down get down get inside get in the car get in the car!"

Caller: "We just heard three shots in the air, someone just got hit with a baseball bat. We're at the fraternity complex."

The victims were attacked with baseball bats at this apartment complex near McClintock and University. That's where members of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity were throwing a party.

A man who was not a student at ASU crashed the party looking for his girlfriend, a senior in high school. He found her and she didn't want to leave -- so he left, but his friend got into a fight with ASU students.

That friend came back to the party with more guys, and this time they had bats and guns. There's no video of that actual attack -- but we can hear from the 911 calls, how chaotic it was for students.

Caller: "Everyone, everyone is scared, everyone is scared because there were shots fired."

Of the five people arrested so far, the suspects range in age from 18 to 20. They are: Isaiah Everett, Caleb Everett, Zack Rezendes, Clarissa Casillas and Michael Reyes [not pictured].
