PEORIA, Ariz. -

It's a way of saying thank you to the men and women who risked their lives while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Wells Fargo and the Military Warriors Support Foundation teamed up to provide a wounded marine with a mortgage free home right here in the valley.

We were there as the proud new homeowner was handed the keys.

"I don't know what to say seriously I seriously do not know what to say I think I'm going to cry," says Daniel Seo. He can't believe the gift he's been given.

"If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is… my mother said ‘this is a scam, no one just gives you a house for free, you better read the fine print.' I said you know what mom I think it's for real."

So Seo and his wife have loaded up their stuff and traveled all the way from California to live right here in the valley.

His home here in Peoria from a far cry from Iraq. After he got hurt, doctors were able to save his left leg and then he returned to service.

"If you get injured or what not, that's just a part of the job, so we're not looking for any glory or anything like that."

The new town home provided for Seo and his wife, courtesy of the Military Warriors Support Foundation and Wells Fargo. To date they've given more than a dozen homes to America's war veterans around the country, just like Seo.

"Veterans out there, there are programs out there. This is real, it's not fake. Militarywarriors.org, thank you everyone."

Seo served as a Marine from 2002 to 2006. He was offered military discharge but declined in order to serve the rest of his term.

He's received numerous awards including a Purple Heart and a Navy and Marine Achievement Medal.
