Scottsdale puts $212M bond program before voters

Updated:

PHOENIX (AP) - The Scottsdale City Council wants voters to decide whether the city should fund a $212 million bond program to pay for parks, roads, storm drains and other infrastructure projects.

Voters will decide the four bond questions during the Nov. 5 election.

The last successful bond election in Scottsdale was in 2004. Scottsdale voters rejected bond questions on transportation and public safety in 2010.

The bond program would also pay for libraries, public safety and transportation projects.
