Third Small Earthquake in a Week Strikes So Cal

A 3.2-magnitude earthquake hit Malibu late Thursday. The temblor hit at 10:57 p.m. about 3 miles south of Malibu, according to the Southern California Earthquake Data Center. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was six miles from Malibu Beach, nine miles from Agoura Hills, 10 miles from Agoura.

Residents in Latigo Canyon, Corral Canyon, the Malibu Colony and Monte Nido told The Malibu Times on Facebook they felt the strong, rolling shake. Readers as far as Topanga and Santa Monica and Palms said the felt the quake too.

This is the third earthquake to shake the area in recent days. Last  Sunday, a 2.8-magnitude quake jolted Marina Del Rey and last Friday, another 3.2-magnitude quake hit nearby at LAX.
