My Inch Of The Earth connects people to meaningful places

Posted: Updated:

With Memorial Day upon us, MyInchofTheEarth.com and the VFW Foundation, the official charity of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), invite Americans to support our troops and veterans by claiming an inch of the earth and support their heroes.

Each inch is claimed with a donation of $12 and benefits the VFW Foundation, which develops programs and services geared toward and improving the lives of veterans, military service personnel and their families.

"The VFW Foundation prides itself on its programs and services that augment governmental assistance gaps for troops abroad, military families back in the U.S. and America's often-forgotten veterans," says Michele Favoretto, CEO and founder of TerraYebo.

"If you know someone who has served or is serving in the military, honor your hero by claiming their place in the world, share their story, and support the VFW Foundation."

At MyInchofTheEarth.com, small actions can make a big difference.

These small actions begin by claiming a virtual inch of the earth and personalizing the inch with a story, picture and/or a video that explains why the place is so meaningful.

Every time an inch is claimed and shared, you make a difference and support good causes around the world.

"My Inch of the Earth is an inspiring and wonderful way to honor special people in our lives and to celebrate the incredible world which we live in," says Dan Glisky, Jr. President of TerraYebo.

"Our veterans are heroes to all of us, and what a wonderful way to show our appreciation by supporting a cause that helps all veterans, in a very personal way."
