Tatiana Maslany: It's In The Writing, It's All In The Writing

Posted: Updated:

When it comes to acting, Tatiana Maslany could be the hardest working woman on television. She stars in the sci-fi series "Orphan Black" and plays several different roles. That's because her character's been cloned! Tatiana talks to Steve and Maria about juggling her lines, accents, and props for each woman she plays on the show.

As far as answers to the big mystery of the show, Tatiana says don't ask her, she and all of the characters she plays are in the dark just like the audience! Some answers will be revealed Saturday night when Orphan Black's season finale airs.

Fun facts about Tatiana:

  • Maslany was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
  • Maslany has Ukrainian, Polish, German, Austrian, and Romanian ancestry.
  • She appeared in Grown Up Movie Star as Ruby, a role which earned the actor a special jury breakout role award at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
  • She co-starred with NCIS star Mark Harmon in the film adaptation of John Sandford's Certain Prey as a contract killer named Clara Rinker.
