Ken Jimenez, entertainment manager for Palace Sports & Entertainment along with current members of The Detroit Pistons Cheer Team will lead each camp that focuses on drills and fundamentals, innovative transitional pyramid combinations and game-ready sideline routines.

"We are excited to host our second Pistons Academy cheerleading camp here at The Palace of Auburn Hills," said Harlan Hendrickson, Vice President of Marketing for Palace Sports & Entertainment.

"We host a large high school cheerleading competition during the season each year and we hope that youngsters cheering for their junior high or high school teams will take advantage of this opportunity to learn from the best and improve their skills."

Participants are urged to register online by Friday, June 14.

The junior high camp will be from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and the high school camp will be from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Each camp is at The Palace of Auburn Hills for $55.
